Who we are
Sortique Limited was incorporated
in April 2002.
The founding
Director is John Waugh, an MBA graduate of Henley Management
College who also has many years technical and managerial
experience, is a trained BBC Engineer and holds several software
development qualifications.
He is supported by a team that includes a qualified accountant
and
a BBC Trained
Web author.
Our technical expertise ranges from databases, to programming
in a number of languages - Java, JavaScript, PHP, VB etc.
Our team includes a qualified accountant who can help with
financial
projects.
How we Work
We keep our costs low by using open source software where
this is appropriate. This is a complex area, and Sortique clients
benefit from up to date advise on the use of open source
software.
We can provide applications for use within organisations -
for example, written in VB or Java. Or we can develop applications
using web technologies for intranets or the public Internet.
We
use professional development tools such as Dreamweaver and
Fireworks. As a result, our clients benefit
by achieving good looking, functional applications and web sites
that load quickly and stand out from the crowd.
We maintain a network of associates who have many decades
experience in large organisations, or access to specialist technical
